Application:

Screwed Sight Glasses are used for observation of processes inside Boilers, Vessels and Pipes. They are often employed in food service, dairy, breweries and pharmaceutical applications. Due to the high temperature tolerance sterilization is possible.

he ACI threaded sight glass based on EN 10357 (old DIN 11851) is specially designed for use in the food industry, medicine and other areas with high hygiene requirements.

The base flange of the sight glass is welded to an open pipe socket according to DIN 11850 or EN 10357 and thus forms a resilient and tight connection with the rest of the system. On the media side, the borosilicate glass disc, which complies with the DIN 7080 standard, is sealed by a gasket ring made of NBR, FKM (Viton) or PTFE, which is specially shaped for milk pipe screw connections. A groove nut provides the necessary support.

Individual parts can be replaced at any time with very little effort and without special tools. Our sales team will assist you in case of problems.
