BRIEF DESCRIPTION - HIGH PERFORMANCE SIGHTGLASS FITTING FOR FLANGE MOUNTING

The ACI tank sight glass type 326 is a variation of the type 321/323, intended for an extended range of applications, especially at higher temperatures and simultaneously higher pressures. This high performance sight glass is used to observe and illuminate the interior of closed vessels (boilers, tanks, silos, etc.).

The PTFE-encapsulated gaskets normally used in Type 321 are no longer safe to use above a temperature of 200°C. This means that the PTFE-encapsulated gaskets are no longer safe to use. In order to eliminate this disadvantage, we use high-quality gaskets on the basis of graphite, mica or carbon fibre for the Type 326, with the result allowing an operating range for the sightglass fitting of more than 400°C. The sightglasses are designed for continuous operation at elevated temperatures and perssures.

The fitting is completely assembled at our factory and, on request, tested for pressure resistance and tightness so that you can rely 100% on our quality.
