SHORT DESCRIPTION - CIRCULAR SIGHT GLASS FITTINGS WITH MALE THREAD CONNECTION
The ACI screw-in sight glass Type 392 is a modification of our welded Sight glass Type 390. The sight glass device Type 392 is equipped with a male thread on the connection side, allowing it to be installed into an existing thread connection.
For the screw-in sight glass Type 392, we use the same highly resilient borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080 we successfully use in many of our devices. If even this widely used industrial glass is not sufficient for your application, we can offer high performance materials like quartz or sapphire instead. Special sizing for extremely high pressures is also available on request.
To seal out sight glass devices, we use only highest quality gasket materials like KlingerSIL C4400, Frenzelit novaphit MST or Garlock Gylon, as well as elastic gaskets made of silicone, EPDM or NBR. For chemically demanding applications, we offer pure PTFE gaskets.
The different glass and gasket materials can be combined as required with a wide variety of flange materials. Apart from high quality stainless steel alloys like 1.4571 and 1.4404, we offer established steel type for pressure equipment like P265GH or S235JRG2, as well as special materials like Hastelloy.
