Type 338 - PN16
SHORT DESCRIPTION - TANK SIGHT GLASS TYPE 338 - PN16 WITH 50 MM WIDE VIEW
The ACI tank sight glass type 338 for welding in or on are suitable for visual inspection in the tank for pressures up to 16 bar. The sight glass enables reliable monitoring of the filling level at a visible width of 50 mm. The tank sight glass type 338 is a robust oval tank sight glass. The "Transparent" design allows the use of protective panes such as mica, KEL-F, PTFE or FEP to protect the glass surface from chemical and thermal influences.
In addition to the borosilicate glass panes similar to DIN 7081 industrial standard, we also use high-quality materials such as quartz or sapphire glass for particularly high temperatures or heavy loads, if required by your application.
As is the case with most of our sightglasses, sealing is achieved by means of high-quality flat gaskets such as KlingerSIL C4400, Frenzelit novaphit MST or chemically highly resistant PTFE in untreated or expanded form. We can also install durable soft seals such as silicone, EPDM or NBR directly in your valve at the factory.
As a frame material you can choose from our entire catalogue of high-quality steel and stainless steel grades such as P265GH, 1.4571, 1.4541. We also offer the internationally very popular stainless steel 1.4404, as well as high-performance alloys such as Hastelloy or Duplex steel.
If it is necessary to replace the glass or seal, our competent team of technical and sales consultants will help to provide a solution as quickly as possible.
